How do you relate with the Generation Flux? How will it affect your success career?

Generation Flux is one of the most inspiring things I've been read recently. Yeah, we fall into the GF without being able to react or think sometimes. The article describes a revolution bought on by technology, information overload, disruption, ambiguity and evolving personal & professional networks. The mathematical and physical definition of flux, is essentially, FLOW. I like the image. This is the generation that goes with the flow, that creates our own job titles, that wears a dozen different hat at once. We are versatile, eager to learn, not tied down to a single career or personal identity, and it's easy to see  why. We simply don't have a choice.
There's something kind of freeing in the idea of this type of fluidity, job-jumping.I wonder if it's a unique to certain countries with fluid, flexible economies. What I mean is - in Spain, even before this economic crisis, I think it would have been hard for a Spaniard to jump jobs. Things are not as flexible as they are in other countries. If you don't get a certain jobs when you leave the university, it's hard to get them afterward. If you do have a job, it's harder to lose it since employers are penalized more letting go of employees. On the other hand, maybe someone with a flexible attitude will always be able to find an interesting job almost anywhere. Hmm.
I have a very flexible attitude, but even with such an attitude, the idea of four years job doesn't let me a very sweat taste in my mouth. I adore being in action, but I hate being under the pressure. I love changing and new digital communication tools, but I still prefer the old style to shake hands and to see people's real smile in front of me...I don't say  to remain the same...I simply say not to forget being human beings.
< This is the moment for an explosion of opportunity, there for taking by those prepared to embrace the chance. Flexibility of skills leads to flexibility of options. To see what you can't see coming, you've got to embrace larger principles .>

The Future of Social Media - Tablets Boom

Kindle Fire & Hospitality
For the Hospitality industry, the creative implementation of a portable, mobile tablet device is on the verge of explosion. Tablet or T-commerce, are providing helpful to hospitality business guests, employee and management in a variety of full service and self-service applications.
Such guest-facing applicators as hotel room amenity menus, digital food and beverage presentation, detailed wine inventory navigation, and account settlement contribued to the rapid success of T-commerce applicators. For the hospitality industry, the goal of T-commerce is to apply tablet devices in a way that technology complements service, not remplaces it.
The explosion of T-commerce throughout the hospitality industry is happening at unprecedented rate. Tablet devices are being effectivelly applied to nearly all aspects of hotel, restautrant, bar and club operations.
Of course, the T-commerce should never eliminate the human being from its function, but should definitely help him to improve the services and to make the communication more easy, fast and clear.

Costa Crociera - Like Titanic....

With this article I wonder if today we have security on board...
Rescuers have found two people alive on a cruise ship that hit rocks and keeled over off the west coast of Italy, as three were confirmed dead with dozens still missing.
Investigators arrested the ship’s captain on Saturday and would begin analysing the “black box” recovered by rescuers, which logged all of the 291-metre long ship’s movements as well as conversations between personnel.
